to call my own

I would love to design my own house and perhaps I will when we get one.  But for now, all I can do is to imagine and dream it up in my head. Yesterday afternoon, we went to Glorietta mall in the HOME ZONE area… I was inspired by their wood design. Some showcase look better because of their lighting effect. Lights can really do good in a room. I poined it out to my husband (who is forced to listened to everything that I have to say on that time cause hed rahter be in the entertaiment system area). I tend to lean towards the minimalistic contemporary asian design. I like it clean and easy to clean set of furnitures and linens.

I wouldnt like furnitures that occupy the room much. It’ll not be called a room if it doenst have a room, just bunch of old junks that you dont need, gifts from your mother, friends, birthday, wedding, etc.. and I guess they would understand why. and besides, Im still clumsy and big space for me is a big thing. 

next big thing for me is contemporary asian. i like the wood/hemp work of the furniture and its practicality. I like to put some bonsai to have more asian-ish look.

in this picture, its a classic example of contemporary asian. the divider looks like a japanese wall right? and the furniture here is modern but it looks a bit uncomfy.   i like the open space however, I also like the idea of light coming from the outside making the room looks spacious and sleek. these pictures are taken from google by the way. 

  i also love the combination of indoor and outdoor, i may need to do some research though if i m planning to have this design, cause i have to consider storms and thieves. LOL

  i would like to paint the walls darker then put some light treatment on it. then voila! 

 or…-somthing like this picture, for example, that’s inviting and like- having its own different space. unlike the usual- transition to separate rooms like walls and floor leveling, this zen area… by Paola Henti  is INGENIUS! 

or…  a part of the house where you can invite your friends over or your workmates… nice eh? whew… a wonderful pallete for your dishes youll serve. 2nd hand smokers would love a place like this, like me for example.

hmmm. i just wish i have lots and lots of money. hmmm. TTFN!
