I know its kinda silly to cook food other than rice in a ricecooker. lol. Weve just arrived from Manila couple of months ago and were not sure to live here permanently– so we’re not ready to buy gasulette yet. We bought the rice cooker for only P499.00 ($11.00) in SM Bacoor.
I wanted to help people like me who are living away from home and dont have any idea how can they eat what they like when there’s nowhere else to cook it, or for people who are boarding near their schools who are not confident in eating outside, those who rent rooms and wanted to save more, or whoever that wants to eat out less. You will be AMAZED when you realized its capabilities. charot!
Here are some food I cooked in our rice cooker:
RICECOOKER CHOPSUEY
* put 1tsp of cornstarch in half a cup of water to create a saucy look. time: 15 mins


FRIED CLOSED PUSIT(time: 10 mins)
*i never thought that this tasted better than open one (see below)

FRIED EGGS with OPEN SUN-DRIED PUSIT (time: 10 minutes)

RICE COOKER is sooo great, it helps me and my husband cook some other foods like
~ tinolang manok (we just have this last night, thanks honey… fantastic!)
~ and a whole lot more
